Pie R Squared Act 1 Scene 2

Act 1 Scene 2: Bar Woman

John Q: After a morning of pie-less searching our hero heads for the seafront; a small cove- beautiful, this time of year. Wishing to drown his sorrows, Joe enters a pub and sits alone with a pint of Doombar ale, unaware he is being watched....

Lady: Hey honey, can I sit here?
Are you on holiday?
Have you a wife?
Are you gay?

Joe: what?

Lady: Hey honey you look down,
let me loosen up that frown,
let me show you the sights,
don't worry it'll be alright, alright?

Joe: sure.

Lady: St Ives is lovely this time of year,
do you wanna another beer?
I'm a locale gal, just ask anyone,
I can blow your mind, I can be fun.

Lady: Hey honey you look down,
let me loosen up that frown,
let me show you the sights,
don't worry it'll be alright, alright?

Joe: er..

Lady: Now what'll it be?
This is on me.
An ale; a good pint,
a short and dash; a G & T for the lady.

(VOCAL IMPROVISATION)

Oh Joesph, oh Joesph behave!
Oh Joesph..oh Joe..now that's naughty?!
